Lead Author - Circular Economy in Electromobility and Renewable Energy Sectors, United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN ECLAC), Medellin, Colombia
JULY 2020 — DECEMBER 2021

As principal author, performed a desktop research and prepared on behalf of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-ECLAC) a Strategic Foresight Report: "Potencial de aplicación de la Economía Circular Sostenible a los sectores de electromovilidad y energía renovable en América Latina y el Caribe" (ENG: The potential application of the Sustainable Circular Economy in the Electromotive and Renewable Energy Sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean).
Performed work remotely from Medellin, Colombia that included:
● An extensive literature research and drafted a strategic policy document that, prior to entering into addressing circular economy opportunities in the energy and mobility sectors, helps define and provides a macro-conceptual vision of the "Sustainable Circular Economy" and its operational principles that serve as a basis for what a Circular Economy Transition Agenda could be for the Latin American and Caribbean region.
● Next the drafting of a strategic foresight document exploring the potential of the application of the Sustainable Circular Economy (SCE) principles for the governance of the electromotive and renewable energy sectors in urban areas of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to create the fundamental conditions for the transition towards a sustainable circular economy where not only there is an adequate deployment of electric mobility and renewable energy technologies, mainly solar and wind energy, but also the ability to circulate valuable materials used in these sectors of the economy and create positive socio-environmental and macroeconomic impacts.
