Circular Economy Quality Controller - Circular Economy Strategy for Costa Rica, Americas Sustainable Development Foundation, Medellin, Colombia

As the Circular Economy Technical Quality Controller on behalf of the Americas Sustainable Development Foundation (ASDF) and Member of the Technical Backstopping Team of an OCA Global-ASDF international consortium:
● Had oversight of, and reviewed the overall products and outputs of a UNIDO-funded Assessment of the current status of the Circular Economy for developing a National Circular Economy Strategy for Costa Rica on behalf of the United Nations Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN).
● Was responsible for the technical quality control, review outputs, advise, and guide the project implementation team regarding compliance to the Circular Economy principles.
The Project focused on providing a participatory-designed national cross-sector strategy that helps national, regional, and local authorities and private sector stakeholders in Costa Rica guide, monitor, and evaluate the country's transition towards a circular economy, addressing the legal, social, economic, and cultural barriers that hinder this process.
