Circular Economy Expert - IDB/Sustainable Islands Program, Americas Sustainable Development Foundation, Medellin, Colombia

Served as Circular Economy Senior Expert (on behalf of ASDF) to provide technical assistance for the IDB-funded Sustainable Islands Programme – SIP on behalf of the Sustainability Division at the Inter American Development Bank (IDB).

● Advised the IDB on the design and development of the Sustainable Islands Program (SIP) and guide, and safeguard Blue Economy and CE principles for development of marine and ocean solutions applicable within the Maritime Exclusive Economic Zones.

● Supported outreach and promotion activities, speakers' invitations, agenda, content, follow up, and reporting;

● Program focus: a) improving institutional capacities; b) identification and preparation of investment opportunities in CE; c) creation of a financing mechanism for CE projects for islands to address energy, water, food, and material management needs.
